Aria Amazon
Aria Amazon, designed by Jordi Puig (an innovative architect), is a river cruise vessel that allows you to travel through the Peruvian Amazon and Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve in luxury and comfort. It has minimal impact on the fragile Amazon rainforest and river environment.
16 spacious suites offer a panoramic view of the Amazon’s rainforests and river from their floor-to-ceiling windows. The top deck offers ample amenities, including a jacuzzi and indoor lounge, bar and outdoor observation deck. The dining room features Peruvian cuisine, including a menu by Pedro Miguel Schiaffino (one of Peru’s best chefs), which includes a variety of dishes.
Guests can expect to have the most rewarding and life-enhancing encounters with wildlife when they travel in small groups of eight. These excursions are led by highly-experienced naturalist guide. The comfort of wild exploration is enhanced by the custom-designed fleet of launch boats that our crew and captain have built.
Aria Amazon sets a precedent for all other Amazon river cruise vessels in the region by having a water treatment plant as well as fuel-efficient, virtually smoke-free engines that conform to strict US and international environmental standards.
Dining Room
This is what a world-class restaurant in the middle of the Amazon is meant to look like. With Aria Amazon consulting chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino championing the use of local Amazonian produce and ingredients in his acclaimed cuisine, guests get to enjoy the most exquisite Peruvian rainforest-to-table cuisine from the Aria Amazon galley, with a view to match.
Observation Deck
Outside of the multiple daily excursions, guests can relax on the ship’s observation deck for leisurely wildlife watching under the vast open Amazon sky.
At dusk and dawn, Amazon sunsets and sunrises in the ‘mirrored forest’ of Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve have double the visual impact as they are reflected off the ‘black water’ of the Amazon river, and this the observation deck is the ideal place to snap that winning photograph!
Outdoor Lounge
Drift away on an afternoon siesta amid the sounds of the rainforest.
Indoor Lounge
Air-conditioned with plenty of natural light, plush deep sofas, soothing hardwood decor and a well-stocked bar as a centerpiece, this is arguably one of the best spots in Peru to sip on a pisco sour.
Outdoor Jacuzzi
Cool off and relax in our river-facing jacuzzi, with a cocktail in hand if you like.
Massage Room
The best way to pamper yourself after a day’s adventure is a soothing massage by our experience on board therapist.
When it comes to private time on the Aria Amazon, experience the purity of Amazonia in ultimate comfort and style. Our 16 spacious, river-facing Design Suites — including 4 interconnecting suites — are furnished with inviting hardwood interiors along with premium fittings and beddings such smooth-as-silk high thread count Peruvian cotton sheets. In the fully air-conditioned comfort of your river cruise suite, admire the Amazon landscape and spot wildlife from the comfort of your plush daybed right next to the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Without a doubt, our suites are the most luxurious retreat you deserve after a day’s fruitful adventures in the river and rainforest.

A note on internet connection
Due to the remoteness and unspoilt nature of the Peruvian Amazon, there is no mobile and wireless network coverage outside of disembarkation city of Iquitos. As such, there is no Wifi or Internet connection available onboard the Aria Amazon. That said, guests report periodically connecting via roaming on their iPhone or other handheld devices, depending on the ship’s proximity to Iquitos.
For phone contact where no signal is available, you may need a special telephone that can operate on a foreign signal. If you need to contact your home or office for any emergency, the Aria Amazon is equipped with a satellite phone. Prior to the call, we will inform you of the charges and you may pay for these directly while on board.
